The 2006 Yamaha MT-01 is a unique, no-compromise muscle roadster powered by a massive 1670cc air-cooled V-twin that produces 90 bhp and a huge 110 ft-lb of torque. It delivers its power low down — from just 1,500 to 5,000 rpm — with brutal, lumpy drive and one of the best V-twin exhaust notes around. While R1-derived brakes provide strong stopping power. It turns with more agility than its size suggests and feels composed on fast roads or twisty sections. The upright riding position offers a commanding view and decent comfort for longer rides, especially for taller or bigger riders, with a supportive seat that many owners rate highly.
