Motorcycle Specifications
Description
Pre-registered Rieju NKD 125 now available - ordered by a customer whose circumstances changed, so this virtually new bike is ready for its first proper owner. *** INCLUDES FIRST SERVICE IF CARRIED OUT BY US*** Powering it is a liquid-cooled 125cc four-stroke single with electronic fuel injection, a six-speed gearbox and electric start - smooth, learner-legal power that suits city riding and A-roads alike, with a decent 13.5-litre tank for proper range between fill-ups. Spec is strong for the class: a 41mm upside-down fork gives a firm, direct front end, backed by a preload-adjustable progressive mono-shock, while braking comes from a Nissin twin-piston caliper on a 320mm front disc and a 240mm rear, with both ABS and traction control as standard - genuinely rare kit on a 125. Seventeen-inch wheels with a wide 140-section rear tyre keep it planted through corners, and at 150kg dry with a low 780mm seat height it's an easy, confidence-building bike for newer riders and shorter riders alike.
The 5-inch colour TFT dash includes Mirror Link smartphone connectivity, lighting is full LED front and rear, and the styling is sharp and aggressive naked-bike stuff, right down to the integrated R detail on the seat. Still covered by the balance of the 2-year manufacturer's warranty. || At Superbike Specialists, we offer a top selection of HPI-clear used and pre-registered motorcycles (unless stated). Our bikes are mechanically prepared by passionate onsite mechanics, with a focus on exceptional customer service.
Every bike includes a 30-day warranty, with options to extend to 6 or 12 months, a minimum of 6 months MOT (where applicable), and a fresh service. UK mainland delivery starts at £50. Competitive finance and card payments are accepted.
We are also an authorised Scorpion Datatool dealer, offering fully fitted S5 Thatcham-approved trackers from £299.

Typical Price Range
All prices are approximate and subject to change based on condition, mileage, specification, and market conditions.
- 2015–2018: £1,000 – £1,800 — At this price point, you’ll find well-used but still reliable 50cc and earlier 125cc models, ideal for budget-conscious learners.
- 2019–2021: £1,500 – £2,400 — Expect newer 125cc models or very tidy 50cc bikes, often with lower mileage and in better overall condition.
- 2022–Present: £2,200 – £3,000 — These will be nearly new 125cc versions, offering the latest styling and technology with minimal wear and tear.
Common Issues to Check
- Electrical Gremlins: Check all lights, indicators, and the horn for proper function, as minor wiring issues can sometimes occur.
- Exhaust Corrosion: Inspect the exhaust system, particularly the headers and silencer, for rust, especially on bikes used through winter.
- Tyre Condition: Young riders can be hard on tyres; check for wear, cracks, and uneven tread, as replacements can add to initial costs.
- Brake Performance: Test both front and rear brakes for sponginess or excessive lever travel, indicating worn pads or air in the lines.
- Service History & Restrictors: For 50cc models, ensure any restrictors are correctly fitted if required for licence, and check for consistent servicing, as these bikes are often ridden hard.
Running Costs
- Fuel Economy: 85 – 100 mpg
- Insurance Group: 5 – 9 (Motorcycle groups, typically out of 17)
- Servicing: Generally inexpensive due to simple mechanics and small engine size, with many parts being widely available. Routine checks and oil changes are straightforward.
Which Variant Should I Choose?
- Rieju Nkd 50: Perfect for 16-year-old riders with an AM licence, offering an easy introduction to motorcycling with excellent fuel economy and urban agility.
- Rieju Nkd 125: The ideal choice for A1 licence holders or adult commuters, providing a bit more power and speed for comfortable urban and suburban riding without sacrificing economy.
