Van Specifications
Description
2010 (60)reg Citroen Dispatch Camper Van 2 Berth 2.0HDi 6 Speed LWB A very clean and tidy camper van with powerful 2.0HDi engine and 6 speed manual gearbox that drives spot on (I personally drove it around 230 miles back to base from the last owner and it was an absolute pleasure!) The conversion inside is of a decent standard but not done by a company. The correct cabinets/fixtures etc have been used and we just need to do a bit of 'finishing off' to get it upto a better standard (fit gas locker, drop vent etc). Don't get me wrong it is very respectable as you can see from the photos.
Internal height is around 5ft 6in. I'm 5ft 10in and can manage fine with head tilted a little. Specification to include: L shaped sofa turns into small double bed (or use as a single), Privacy glass to rear, 12v leisure battery system with huge leisure battery, Portaloo cupboard, small fridge (very small!), gas hob, sink with cold water tap, CD player, electric windows, storage cupboards, 12v lighting, 12v control panel.
Higher mileage at 144k but drives like it's covered half that mileage. Does have some wear and tear in front cab commensurate with mileage and age but still a very respectable looking camper van. Part Exchange Welcome: Car/Van/Caravan/Camper Van/Motorhome This Citroen camper comes with a comprehensive report from Motor Check to confirm that it has no hidden stories (no finance, not an insurance write off, verified mileage history etc etc).
Reg number is clearly shown on the rear photos of vehicle (we only cover front reg with one of our company display plates).

- 2.0 BlueHDi: 180hp, 400Nm (EAT8 Automatic) - Top-tier power and refinement.

What to Look For When Buying Used
- DPF (Diesel Particulate Filter): Essential for Euro 6 compliance. Frequent short journeys can clog the DPF. Check for warning lights or a history of DPF regeneration issues.
- Timing Belt: Most 1.5 and 2.0 BlueHDi engines use a timing belt, not a chain. Crucial to check service history for belt replacement intervals (typically 100,000 miles or 10 years, whichever comes first, but verify with service book). Failure is catastrophic.
- AdBlue System: The AdBlue tank and injection system can develop faults, leading to engine warning lights and limp-home mode. Ensure no AdBlue warnings are present.
- Suspension: Listen for knocks or creaks, especially from the front. Worn ball joints or drop links are common.
- Sliding Doors: Check for smooth operation and signs of damage from impacts or heavy use. Test both sides if applicable.
- Rust Spots: While generally good, inspect wheel arches, bottom of doors, and around the loading bay for any surface rust, particularly on older, higher-mileage examples.
- Clutch/Gearbox: Test the manual gearbox for smooth shifts and the clutch for slippage or a high biting point. The EAT8 automatic is generally robust but check for smooth engagement.
Running Costs for Businesses
- Insurance (Group): Citroen Dispatch models typically fall into insurance groups 28-35 (out of 50) for commercial vehicles, depending on engine size and trim. Example: A 2.0 BlueHDi 120hp Enterprise could be group 31.
- Fuel Economy: Expect 38-50 mpg (combined) from the diesel engines, with the 1.5 BlueHDi offering the best figures. Real-world economy depends heavily on load and driving style.
- Servicing: Main dealer servicing can range from £250 for a minor service to £500+ for a major service. Independent specialists often offer competitive rates.
- ULEZ/CAZ Compliance: All Euro 6 diesel Dispatch models (post-Sept 2016) are compliant with current Ultra Low Emission Zones (ULEZ) and Clean Air Zones (CAZ) across the UK.
