Vehicle Specifications
Description
This is a beautiful 1971 Triumph TR6 CP engine (originally 150bhp fuel injected model) and has now been arguably improved by having the fuel injection system removed and reliable SU Carburettors fitted. Originally delivered to Bournemouth as a right-hand drive example the car was exported to Germany for a number of years before returning in May 2000. Now finished in Triumph conifer green with tan leather seats the vehicle is presenting very well clearly having received many years of meticulous maintenance.
Other additions inside include the burr walnut dash, door capping's, motalita steering wheel and stainless door plates. The hood is presenting well and comes with a hood cover when it is down, finishing it off nicely. The smooth straight six runs very well, gearbox and overdrive operate perfectly.
The Triumph is fitted with an electric fan for those extra hot days; a new radiator has recently been fitted and replenished with Evans waterless coolant. There is an invoice in the file from well-known Triumph specialist Revington TR in Bridgewater for some £10,400 worth of work proving the 6 has been maintained regardless of cost. Additionally, the TR has an MOT until 27th May 2027 which is advisory free, although unnecessary it does provide the new owner with confidence it has been checked over.
Now sitting pretty on unmarked Minilite wheels shod with Dunlop Tyres the vehicle handles as good as it looks. The chrome is in equally as good condition. A thick file of paperwork and history will accompany the vehicle including a BMIHT certificate.
It also has the original fuel injection system in the boot (minus the fuel pump) if the next owner decides to re-install it. Please call for further information, part exchange considered.
