Performance is properly serious for a front-wheel-drive hatch, but it remains completely usable every day. The chassis is one of the best parts of the Mk3 Cupra. It features DCC electronically controlled dampers, which firm up in Cupra mode, along with progressive steering and the VAQ electronically controlled front differential lock to help put the power down properly.
